Oświęcim

City and commune in the Lesser Poland voivodship, in the Oświęcim district (is seat). The city is also the seat of the authorities of the village commune of Oświęcim. The city is located on the Soła river. The city is located at its orifice to the Vistula river. According to the data of 31st March 2011, the city had 40 324 residents which made it the 4th biggest city among the cities in the Lesser Poland voivodship.

Wadowice

The city is located in the south of Poland, in the Lesser Poland voivodship, it is the seat of the authorities of the Wadowice district and city-village commune of Wadowice. The city is situated on Wieliczka Foothills, on the Skawa river. The city, first mentioned in 1327, used to be small centre, however from the end of the 18th century, along with the construction of the tract connecting Lviv and Vienna as well as transfer of the Kreis seat by the Austrian authorities, the city started to develop faster. Currently, it is an important pilgrimage centre as the hometown of pope John Paul II.

Promnice

The first castle was built in the area in the years 1760 - 1766 by Promnitz - then owners of the Principality of Pszczyński. The initiator of the construction was the last descendant of the old Polish nobility - Jan Adam Promnitz. He designed his court architect of the family - Jan Jahne of Zar near Sagan.
